Shore Excursion Zadar: itinerary

Our Shore Excursion Zadar will start from the pier to the old center in the town. We will enter Zadar through one of the old gates that still conserves a Venetian lion statue. We will be pleased with the white stone streets that date from Roman times and the high wall which was built by the Venetians.

We will visit the Church of St. Donatus built in Byzantine style dated back to the 9th century and the 13th century Cathedral of St Anastasia. Other highlights include the oldest Gothic church in Dalmatia and the ruins of the Roman Forum which date back to the glory days as a Roman colony.

We will enjoy a little free time in the centre before getting back on our bus which will drive us back to the port.

*Shore excursions could be subject to variations due to external causes as Cruise Companies politics, weather conditions, duration of the stay of the ship in the port, legal demonstrations…
