As an Italian cruise line Costa have gone back to their roots with this ship. In Mediterranea’s four restaurants food takes on a decidedly Italian slant with pizza and pasta seemingly always on offer, and the multilingual staff lead in the same language.
In line with the Costa style, the interiors are richly decorated and on this particular ship artwork follows the theme of Italian buildings of the 17th and 18th centuries. Although you will find work in Renaissance and Neoclassical style, you can also see artwork which follows theme more loosely, using more modern and playful forms.
Clients can enjoy the usual facilities such as a spa, sports pitch and jogging track for sportistas as well as a casino, disco and theatre for fun-filled evenings on board. Kids can take advantage of the ‘Squok Club’ and of course there’s a shopping centre too.
